– We’ll start off by preheating our oven.– Then we will need about fried bacon that has been chopped up, sharp cheddar cheese, and three green onions that have been chopped up.
– Combine flour, baking powder, kosher salt, and a cayenne pepper in a large mixing bowl.- Mix all of the dry ingredients with a whisk.- Cut butter into the flour mixture. - Then add the cheddar, bacon, and green onion and mix well.
- Add the buttermilk and mix well again to make a dough. - Flour your countertops with flour and roll out the dough. We use our hands to flatten out the dough, but you can use a rolling pin.
- Place a greased baking sheet and bake. Check for doneness.- Remove from the oven, remove them from the baking sheet and place onto a cooling rack. Let them cool.
