Toasty crackers with ranch dressing and other spices. Perfect for holiday gift giving, tailgating, Football Parties, and snacking. Try them with tomato soup.
In a large mixing bowl, add all ingredients except the oyster crackers.
Mix well.
Add the oyster crackers and gently mix until all of the crackers are coated with oil and spices.
Once the oven is preheated, pour into a baking pan and spread into an even layer.
Place in the preheated oven and bake for 15 minutes.
Remove from oven and stir, making sure to mix back in any oil or spices on the bottom of the pan.
Bake for another 15 minutes.
Set aside to cool.
When the ranch crackers are completely cooled, place them into an airtight container.
Notes
Any light tasting cooking oil will work.You can use any kind of cracker you prefer.I prefer the Hidden Valley "Restaurant Style" ranch dressing mix.Baking is optional, it just may take a couple of days for the oil to absorb into the crackers.
